Ureteral activity during increased intravesical pressure.

چکیده
Ureteral activity during the intravesical infusion was examined by urometry and electro-ureterograpby in 12 normal persons and a patient with vesico-ureteral reflux. The urometrograms and eloctro-uroterograms in normal persons indicated that when the bladder was distended with physiologic saline solution, the ureteral peristalsis responded so as to overcome the increased intravosical pressure. In the case with vesico-ureteral reflux, the ureteral peristalsis was found to be

[Pressure changes in the renal pelvis of the dogs in response to a sudden rise in intravesical pressure, examined in the presence of resico ureteral reflux with artificial ureter and/or pelvis].
This study is to determine which part or the upper urinary tract, ureter or pelvis causes more significant delay in the pressure wave-front propagation from the bladder to the pelvis when a reverse flow of the urine occurs. A sudden rise in the intravesical pressure of the dog was produced by stimulating the vesical branches of pelvic nerve with a train of electrical impulses with 10 Hz for 60 ...
متن کاملVesicoscopic Ureteral Reimplantation: A Minimally Invasive Technique for the Definitive Repair of Vesicoureteral Reflux
The surgical treatment of vesicoureteral relfux can range from injection therapy to open ureteral reimplantation. Minimally invasive applications for treatment of vesicoureteral relfux include laparoscopic extravesical and intravesical ureteral reimplantation. We present our extended experience of the technique for intravesical cross-trigonal ureteral reimplantation for vesicoureteral relux.

The relationship between renal arterial pressure and renin release was examined in anesthetized dogs during complete or partial ureteral constriction. During complete ureteral occlusion ureteral pressure rose to 95+/-4 mm Hg and renin release increased from 1.7+/-0.7 to 22.3+/-3.1 mug/min; renal blood flow (RBF) was not significantly changed. Renin release was not further increased during subse...
متن کاملModified laparoscopic intravesical nonrefluxing ureteral reimplantation with psoas hitch using a submucosal tunneling
We aimed to study the safety and efficacy of the cystoscopy-assisted nonrefluxing ureteral reimplantation technique using submucosal tunneling during laparoscopic ureteroneocystostomy (UNC) with a psoas hitch in patients with distal ureter stricture after gynecologic surgery. We reviewed six female patients who underwent gynecological surgeries. All patients showed persistent postoperative dist...
متن کاملIntravesical PGE2 Administration in Conscious Rats as an Experimental Model of Detrusor Overactivity Observed by Simultaneous Registrations of Intravesical and Intraabdominal Pressures.
PURPOSE The urodynamic effects of intravesical PGE2 instillation on bladder function and detrusor overactivity (DO) during the filling phase were investigated in rats by measuring intraabdominal and intravesical pressures simultaneously. MATERIALS AND METHODS Continuous cystometry was performed inconscious, female and male Sprague- Dawley rats. We investigated pressure-, volume-, and DO-relat...
